Inkjetting, or inkjet addressing, is the term used to describe the process of printing variable names and addresses onto mail pieces using inkjetting printers.

DP can provide a complete solution to meet the specific inkjetting requirements in the mailing sector.

Inkjetting Mailings and Inserts	:

Personalising and pre-addressing on-line eliminates time and expense of a separate printing process.

Personalised in – and on-serts can be selectively fed on to the product with reader details, targeted advertising or special offers.

Personalised and Addressed Covers:

Inkjet addressing on-line and personalised with membership or subscriber details.

Quality output with a wide range of fonts even at fast production speeds.

Print text in several different positions – on cover, or within the book, parallel to spine or head.

Inkjetting of barcodes for automated data capture.

Inkjetting and Polywrapping:

Inkjet addressing directly onto wraps eliminates need for labels.

Automatic re-ordering facility ensures 100% output.

On-line addressing on poly or paper wraps can reduce cost by 10 fold.

As well as inkjetting addressing DP also have laser printing capabilities, cut sheet and continuous. More suitable for lower volume mailings, and for producing personalised letters.

Good data is key to direct marketing success!

By improving the integrity of your data to comply with legal and best practise guidelines, we can reduce your mailing and postage costs as well as improving response rates.

Business to business data has a burn rate of around 35% a year. This has huge financial implications for potential waste of money and time for your direct marketing campaigns.

Cleaning your data helps you stay compliant with the Data Protection Act by ensuring that the data you hold is current and accurate. You also help protect the environment by avoiding waste when sending out duplicate or unwanted mailings.

On top of the financial savings, you would benefit by protecting your brand against the potential of damage of incorrect mailings, and you would significantly reduce your environmental footprint by not sending mailings to people who don’t want them or won’t get them.

DP Direct has the experience and range of data enhancement services to help strengthen the performance of your mailing, reduce costs and maximise the return:

PAF Cleansing – correct invalid or mis-spelt addresses and postcodes

Gone Away Suppression – identify people who have moved house

New Movers – in many cases we can identify where people flagged as Goneaways have actually moved to – so you can update your database and continue to mail them at their new address

Deceased Suppression – avoid causing distress and prevent possible fraud by identifying deceased customers

Telephone Appending – enhance your data with additional telephone numbers

Deduplication – prevent wastage by removing duplicate entries for the same person or household

Country Detection – identify foreign records and add the correct country information

MPS Suppression – check names and addresses against the Mailing Preference Service before direct marketing campaigns

In these troubled ‘credit crunch’ days, it is more important than ever that every penny of the valuable marketing budget is spent wisely, efficiently and with return on investment. Data cleansing should be considered an essential part of a marketeer’s strategy to ensure their most valuable asset, the data, is protected and enhanced.

On Sunday 10th July 2011, 300 invited guests were treated to a day of keenly contested Polo on the grounds at Sussex Polo Club, competing for the Comtec Enterprises annual charity Cup in aid of ‘The Children’s Trust’ Tadworth. Comtec Enterprises are a sister company to DP Direct, part of the Claxson Group.

The main match of the day was played at a blistering pace and saw the Red Tigers take away the lead, defeating Comtec’s team 8-6. Guests enjoyed an afternoon of polo with access to various hospitality tents whilst the youngsters were kept busy on the bouncy castle and inflatable assault course. During the afternoon, the lucky winners of the prize draw and the silent auction lot winners were announced. Prizes of which were donated by a number of generous suppliers including Avaya, Mimecast, Avnet, Barracuda, Brocade and Exclusive Networks who also displayed their portfolio of products and solutions with an abundance of giveaways in the Comtec tent alongside the group of businesses under the Claxson Group.

The day raised over £2,000 in support of ‘The Children’s Trust’ who are a national charity providing care, education and therapy for children with multiple disabilities and complex health needs. The care given by the charity comes at a cost and is not fully met from statutory sources so they rely on voluntary income to meet the full cost. For example new buildings and equipment, leisure activities for the children, maintaining the sensory gardens and nature trail in the grounds, the support offered to families and the cost of recruiting and training the volunteers are all funded through voluntary donations. This is why DP Direct believe the support of events such as these are so important.

DP Direct and The Claxson Group would like to take this opportunity to thank you for joining us and supporting the vital work being done by The Children’s Trust and hope to see you next year!
